NEW-BUILT VILLA IN CANNES, FRANCE
TW10 Architects have designed a new-built villa in the Cannes overlooking the hills and sea. This is a great project which opens our doors to more potential international projects in Europe.
The large glazing to the living areas overlooking the sea is contrasted with the smaller windows to the service rooms at the back. We have used 2 architectural styles and proportions, which are merged by the side elevation overlooking the swimming pool.
We also designed the landscape as it needed to be part of the allowed buildable area following local planning rules. The villa was modeled in 3D to show how it would merge within the existing and proposed topography, which was a requirement by the local French council.
