This loft conversion accommodates a rear dormer under Permitted Development. The new loft is accessed from the first floor level where the door to this new bedroom is located. This allows for additional space to the loft conversion where a new en-suite is also featured. As architects and leading consultants we have closely liaised with the contractor and party wall surveyor in order to utilise the entire available width of the roof.
From early stages we have also liaised with the structural engineer in order to solve a low ridge situation by reducing the sizes of the new steels in order to avoid lowering the ceilings.
